It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop... (Confucius)

January

My new hero's. Jason and Elizabeth. They rode (on the bikeway) from San Diego, California. More in the journal later.

Wow, is this great, or what! Above; On the bikeway. Below; We Made It! Jason and Elizabeth on the beach at St. Augustine, Florida, after 56
transcontinental biking days.

(Sorry about the quality of the photo above. I ripped it from their email. However, you can see the triumphant joy in their smiles!)

January

Jacksonville, Florida. Big streets, chrome and glass.                                       Narrow passage between major cities.

"Loaded up and trucking... we 'gonna' do what they say can't be done....."              (If we had room!!!) Sixty (60) miles from coast. Whew!

(How we arrived...) "Big Truck" Sleeper is 8 feet tall.                                   "Jerry" makes the big truck go. No dirt collects at certain speeds.

On the other side - is the "Old" world, and Iraq!  Looking eastwardly...                        Cold, but brave hearts are here!

"First Step" Jacksonville, Florida. Call Vegas! Place your bets.                        I found one for "Ashley" on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean.
