Two of the first doctors that had a huge impact on my golfing adventure were Dr. White and Dr. Williamson of the VA Medical Center Memphis. Dr. White actually recognized an early problem several years ago and sent me to the heart clinic which virtually saved my life and eventually got me healthy enough to enter the golfing world as a very healthy individual. Dr. Williamson actually pulled me out of a stupor (fainting spell during a prolonged test) which would have landed me flat on the floor without his quick thinking and the ammonium type smelling salts he had on hand for just such occasions. You never know what can happen to you in an instant. He was the first one to recommend PGA Tour Pro Instructor David Dixon. It has certainly paid off. How do you learn to play golf with the big dogs?
