Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars. Les Brown

Wow... It looked like we were on a movie set this morning. With fog this thick I thought I would see Bagger Vance (Will Smith) come over the hill any minute and give us a lesson or two. Nope... But it was Sam and Glenn in good form on the 7th tee. No need to raise up your head looking for the ball - it disappeared soon after ball strike into the fog - if you had any loft at all. Check it out - the photo - good back stroke, head down. I'm sure he hit the green with this one.

Extreme - fog to sun - same course.(Southaven Hole 3) Is this beautiful... or what? Wow, look at the ball. Is it an eagle or birdie?

Kenny... at number 8 ahead of storm. Still trying for another hole in one. Looks like a birdie shot coming up to me!

Uh Oh... take Kenny off the amateur new golfer list. Today, Sunday, October 26, 2008, he scored his first "Hole in One." Ken hit one shot off the tee on number four and immediately started yelling. Heck, we thought he hit his foot with the club! Waving and yelling like that, we turned around to see him pointing toward the number four hole. I knew it... a hole in one. He yelled for us to go check it out before he went over to the hole. Sure enough, the ball was in the hole - squeezed in beside the flag pole. A straight shot at the hole hitting the pole smack-dab in the center. Luckily we had our camera with us for verification and I understand he will get his picture in the local paper also. Congratulations Kenny.

Okay Tiger, where are you? I'm ready! Practice, practice, practice.

Kenny... Brand new golfer. Wow, we gotta get more pictures of the swing arc. However, in these photos you can see the baseball swing windup and release. I bet the ball goes left or right as though it had a mind of it's own!!! Arms not straight (just before contact) in first photo. Look at Sergio Garcia at bottom.

Wayne...

Uh Oh... The high Sheriff (Wayne) is on the golf course!

Looks like he's a power player and 300 yards will be nothing for him. See ball in flight - far left.

Cottonwood Links, Harrah's Casino, Tunica, Mississippi. Sunrise - hole nine. Frank Trevino - First tee. Wow, go ball... A mile down the fairway... Wedge for eagle! This is the way to play golf!

   Fidel Chuck

Fidel... Wow man, look at the windup - It'll go a mile - 400 yards at least! Easy par. New iron and wood swing shots. He'll learn a lot here. Notice that Chuck, top right, does not raise his head until AFTER the shot. Eyes are still on the spot where the ball was and right leg is just beginning to bend. Left leg now straight and left arm starting to bend as right arm straightens and aims club at target! He may be old but he has played a lot of golf somewhere, sometime in the past.

Chuck Golf Photos...  Golfin' for the first time in twenty years... Wow, place your bets... Who is this man? Is he the best golfer from the days of old? What do you mean - he ruled Las Vegas? Will he do it again? Ask to see his swing! Stay tuned... Early morning or dark of night! Chuck's first time out golfing in twenty years. Hey, the mayor (ex) stopped by to play the last three holes. They both should write books. Wow, what stories! Howdy Mayor...

Chuck's score??? Well, from scratch golfer in Las Vegas to eighty two (82) twenty years later isn't bad... $100 on the next hole... and the next... and the next!!!

Pro-Man Chuck... Still got it. Who's next?

What are these guy's up to? Who are they? What are they looking for?

March  June March April - Good finish. Get comfortable and stay balanced.

Frank                                                                                Murry

(August) Three (3) months later. See ball in flight - left.

Roy (Me)

Wow, Golfsmith knows how to do it.    Get back... Finally won a big one!

Slight bend in elbow but they certainly have me on track. Perfect shoulder and hip turn. (More pictures soon.)

This is what they are looking for! (Me too!) Sergio Garcia's swing sequence. Courtesy of Golf Digest Magazine.

Look - if it don't feel good - if you're not really comfortable - IT AIN'T RIGHT!!! (Thanks guy's - I learned more today watching than from Golf Digest. Looks like the swing plane is a key to successful ball flight!)
